Speroni is an Italian family-owned company that, since 1963, designs innovative solutions to improve the quality and efficiency of its customers’ production all over the world.
With over 50 years of experience in the tool measurement field, Speroni designs and manufactures highly reliable products of exceptional quality thanks to the use of advanced technologies in turning, milling, grinding and special processing. The manufacturing process is fully handled in the headquarters just a few kilometers south of Milan, in the heart of the Italian industrial area, in a 20,000 square meter facility.
To guarantee ideal solutions, Speroni’s continuous innovation has generated over 500 different product configurations: all custom-made.

OUR HISTORY
1963 Founding of I.C.M.

At the beginning of the 60s, Speroni began its activities as a subcontractor making assemblies for larger machine tool manufacturers. With the introduction of numeric controls into the market, measuring and presetting tools offline increasingly became a need for the manufacturing world. Speroni skilfully reassessed its offering to provide a solution to this new market need by designing and manufacturing the first tool presetters, which are now the company’s core business.
1979 TOOL ROOM
First tool management developments
At the beginning of the 80s, when the information technology of the time allowed it, the Tool Room concept began to develop. A concrete example of this are Speroni’s first integrated installations in 1980 and 1982, respectively at Nuovo Pignone (currently GE Oil&Gas) in Florence and Fiat (currently FCA Italy) in Termoli, where over 5,000 assembled tools were managed just-in-time every day on 5 production lines.
Today INTELLIGO, the software for integrated tool management developed by Speroni effectively centralizes the real-time management of all services and devices tied to the tool resource.
